I'm Shannon McCurdy, a freelance illustrator operating under the studio name "Brush and Thicket". I work primarily in watercolor and gouache, but I also often use ink, or digital mediums. 

Having completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts at Kendall College of Art and Design, I'm looking forward to diving into painting portraits and designing zines.

In my personal time, I love to illustrate kitsch, frilly dresses, long hair, and ghost stories. When it come to client work, I'm always happy to explore new ideas and concepts in order to bring their vision to life.
